Dave:
B.J. Raji is a free agent to-be who could test the market if he doesn’t agree to a new deal with the Packers, and with Eric Ebron off the board the focus becomes defensive tackle. The only question is whether they prefer Louis Nix III or Ra’Shede Hageman. Louis Nix III is an ideal fit in the 3-4, and is a space eater at 6-foot-2 and 342 pounds that will help linebackers Clay Matthews and Nick Perry get to the quarterback.

Giorgos:
I am a bigger fan of Ra’Shede Hageman than Louis Nix III, but I don’t know if the Green Bay Packers agree with me. While Hageman is a tall man with long hands, Louis Nix III may be the next Vince Wilfork. His dimensions make him a prototypical 3-4 nose tackle and the Packers could definitely use a guy his size. Nix is mainly a run-stuffer that clogs up the middle and has the ability to play in a two-gap scheme. He is not fast, but he is quick enough to get to the blockers before they are in a position to block him. Against the pass, he can bring pressure from the inside and his stamina keeps him on the field on every down.
