Day two and still nothing real concrete going on today either. If you call the rumor mill concrete that is. The most recent rumor today was the Eagles took a look at Oakland Raiders defensive lineman Lamarr Houston. This according to the latest report from George Mosher, Eagles Insider with CSNPhilly.com.
"According to Mosher, the Eagles have “checked in” with Houston’s agent, but the likelihood is that his asking price will be a bit rich for how much the Eagles covet his services."
Not sure how much the Eagles are willing to spend but they have room. But again, it’s all about value. Surely they do not want to make the same mistakes they made in 2011 by overpaying for talent that doesn’t pan out.
