After the teams traded field goals to make the score 10-6, the Colts mounted another drive aided by an undisciplined Philadelphia team that overpursued in run defense and jumped offsides numerous times, handing the Colts key first downs. They capped the touchdown march with a 2-yard pass from Luck to Jack Doyle.

Apparently not feeling things were bad enough, Bradley Fletcher dropped a sure-thing interception in the end zone with the Colts driving midway through the third quarter. Instead of keeping Indy off the board, the inexplicable drop gave Adam Vinatieri a 27-yard field goal to make the hole 20-6.

The Eagles finally got into the end zone after that, moving into position thanks to a 21-yard pass from Foles to Ertz on a third down and a 35-yard pass interference penalty against Vontae Davis, who grabbed Cooper’s arm on a deep ball to the end zone. LeSean McCoy burrowed into the end zone from 1-yard out two plays later to make it 20-13.
