Measurables

Bridge possesses the build of almost everyone’s dream quarterback. At 6-5, 235 lbs., he looks the part of an NFL quarterback. But it’s not just about the looks, Bridge reportedly runs a 4.68 forty yard dash which may actually be even faster after seeing him run like he did on this play.

As far as measurables go, Bridge really does “check all of the boxes”. He’s expected to participate in the NFL Scouting Combine and it’d be very surprising if his numbers weren’t at the top of the quarterback rankings for a majority of the drills. CBS Sports’ Dane Brugler wrote about Bridge for one of his “meet the prospect” articles for this year’s draft and is impressed with his build and on-field talent.

"Bridge has a tall, narrow body type with athletic footwork and long-striding speed to pick up yards with his legs. He has elite-level arm strength and release quickness with the ability to add velocity and extra RPM’s on his throws with ease. Bridge isn’t shy about testing tight windows and trusts his arm to make frozen rope throws and put the ball anywhere he wants on the field. He has mobility to keep the play alive when the pocket breaks down, shaking off arm tackles and stepping up with his eyes down-field. Bridge shows the ability to work through his reads and is a quick thinker to make snap decisions. He displayed outstanding toughness playing through an ankle injury most of November 2014."
