2015 NFL Mock Draft –  Philadelphia Eagles Defense Backed Into The Corner

As rapidly as the 2014 NFL season passed, the 2015 NFL season approaches.   NFL Agents are fielding phone calls.  A few NFL Players are counting their big paydays, while others become a one man road show, stopping at many major US cities selling the most important quality of their professional life – their ability to play NFL football.  As players and agents sell their wares, and NFL teams bid on the players who fit their scheme, their plans, it’s challenging to see beyond that to develop a picture of the 2015 NFL draft.

And yet, develop we do.   Not only because we want to give the best coverage to our readers, but because this is probably the part of the NFL season that we as writers enjoy the most.  We get to suggest, to judge.   We can draft in our mock draft dress rehearsals and restructure contracts of players painlessly.   But the final results of whatever we do on paper is to give our respective teams the best chance of winning the Super Bowl.

And so, on the day of the NFL draft, it’s the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who own the day, and the Super Bowl winning New England Patriots who must wait patiently at the back.  For it is in the NFL draft of 2015 that parity becomes reality.  Good teams line up behind bad teams.   The first shall be last.   Meanwhile the last shall be first, and that means that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are walking up to the podium.  The 2015 NFL Mock Draft is about to begin.
