<p>Of course, the phone will ring and a certain team will be trying to trade up to select a quarterback of their own, but Tampa Bay is desperate for a quarterback in their own right. Winston played in a pro-style offense, and is arguably the most NFL ready quarterback in the 2015 NFL draft. His downside on the field is his fearless attempts to thread impossible needles. He is susceptible to the bad pass, and will throw interceptions. He is a pocket passer, and will struggle when the protection of the pocket breaks down. Once he steps off the field, an entire new set of issues of maturity and suspect wisdom will strain his early welcome.</p>
<p>But head coach Lovie Smith is a seasoned NFL coach, and will ensure that he invests more than a draft pick to carry his new quarterback along to success.
