Week 1: Philadelphia Eagles at Atlanta Falcons (Monday Night Football on ESPN)

Right out of the gate, the Eagles begin their season with a prime-time game against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football on ESPN. This will be the regular season debut for Falcons’ head coach Dan Quinn as he tries to change the culture of a team that was viewed as soft and had a terrible defense in 2014. Quinn will bring a tough minded, no nonsense attitude which will certainly boost their defense.

Of course, Atlanta has all the weapons on offense to worry about with quarterback Matt Ryan and the dynamic wide receiver duo of Julio Jones and Roddy White. The newest members of the Eagles’ secondary, cornerbacks Byron Maxwell and Walter Thurmond III will immediately be put to the test. It should make for an entertaining opening game to the season, the Falcons should be a much improved team in 2015, let’s just hope they don’t use fake crowd noise again.
