Philadelphia Eagles: 5 Players That Could Be Traded During The Draft

Mychal Kendricks
The Eagles traded star running back LeSean McCoy for linebacker Kiko Alonso and also extended the contract of linebacker DeMeco Ryans by a year as well. That doesn’t bode well for linebacker Mychal Kendricks and his chances of sticking around in Philadelphia. He wasn’t brought in by Kelly so it’s clear he’ll have no problem cutting ties with him.
Kendricks doesn’t fit the size profile the Eagles look for at linebacker. Nor is he the leader that Kelly praises Ryans for being as well. Add in the fact that Kendricks is heading into the final year of his rookie contract and he could definitely be on the move.
According to multiple reports, the Eagles haven’t even approached Kendricks about an extension either. It’s also worth noting that Kendricks chose to work out with his brother at UCLA instead of joining the Eagles during voluntary workouts. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Kendricks traded for a day two draft pick or included in a package for Mariota.
