Philadelphia Eagles: Who impressed on Sunday?

1. Bennie Logan Dominates
The front three for the Philadelphia Eagles might be the best group in football. Defensive end Fletcher Cox gets all the attention, and for good reason, but the man who impressed the most on Sunday was nose tackle Bennie Logan. Logan was a force on Sunday playing limited snaps but still had three tackles. Bennie lived in the backfield, swallowing up running backs before they could hit the second level.
The Colts had absolutely zero running room when Logan was in the game. The Eagles have a very talented and young group of defensive linemen. Logan is only 25, Cox is only 24, and Cedric Thornton is 26. If Bennie continues his strong play, teams are going to struggle to run the ball for years to come.
It wasn’t long ago when fans wanted the team to draft or sign a big 370lbs nose tackle because the New Orleans Saints ran the ball well on the Eagles two years ago in the playoffs. Those days are gone now and seem silly. Bennie Logan is starting to prove why this front three can be the best in football. What a dominating start for the young nose tackle.
