Malcolm Bunche
Bunche, contrary to Mostert, has flown under the radar a bit this summer, particularly because of his position and the lack of contact in Chip Kelly’s training sessions. In a short period of time, Bunche has exhibited the footwork and athleticism that the Eagles look for in lineman. Additionally, at 6’6″ and 310 lbs with long levers, Bunche possesses the frame that’s congruent with the team’s physical profile.
With the ambiguous nature of the team’s line depth, and so few compelling veteran options, the coaching staff could deem Bunche a viable versatile option with upside. After all, the team has passed on drafting linemen in each of the last two years, so adding a talented –albeit green– young player might be the prudent move.
