Dak Prescott

If one thing is guaranteed about this year’s draft, it’s that the Eagles will be taking a quarterback at some point. If the Eagles decide to go for an offensive lineman in the 1st round, then this could be a guy who would make sense in Philadelphia.

Inside the Iggles already featured Prescott in a full analysis, which you can read here, but the Eagles must keep an eye on him during the combine. Prescott is a thick, athletic quarterback with great character and has drawn comparisons to former Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb. The Eagles wanted to make a return to the glory days of the Andy Reid era with the hiring of Doug Pederson as head coach. If that truly is the case, why not take a guy who plays like the quarterback of the Reid era?

If Prescott can show improved accuracy and footwork at the Combine, he could intrigue the Eagles enough to give him a shot. He’s raw, but he has potential. Prescott requires work, but the finished product could be a lot of fun to watch.
