2016 NFL Draft: Inside The Iggles’ Full First-Round Mock
By Ryan Quigley
14. Oakland Raiders: William Jackson, CB, Houston
This pick may feel a little familiar to Raiders fans. Just a few years ago, Oakland drafted another corner from Houston in D.J. Hayden, but he’s turned out to be a disappointment for the Raiders. Maybe William Jackson will be a different story.
Jackson (6’0″, 189) has good size and ran well at the combine with a 4.37 40-yard dash. He isn’t the strongest corner out there, but he’s intelligent, makes good reads and isn’t afraid to go for the interception.
The Raiders need help in the secondary and Jackson would make complete sense at 14.
