Philadelphia Eagles: Ranking The Free Agent Signings
By Ryan Quigley
2. Nigel Bradham
This man does not get the credit he deserves.
Nigel Bradham is a mean, nasty linebacker who isn’t afraid to hit you in the mouth. The man can lay the wood.
The connection to the Eagles is obvious. Jim Schwartz, the Eagles’ new defensive coordinator, was the Bills’ defensive coordinator in 2014, which just so happened to be Bradham’s best season to date. That year, Bradham recorded 104 tackles, 2.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception.
Bradham’s production fell in 2015 without Schwartz as his defensive coordinator, but missing five games with an ankle injury didn’t really do him any favors either.
In all likelihood, Bradham will slot in as the Eagles’ weakside linebacker alongside Jordan Hicks in the middle and Mychal Kendricks on the strongside. Bradham is a natural fit in Schwartz’s 4-3 base defense and will play a huge role for the Eagles next season.
Next: Rodney McLeod
