The Philadelphia Eagles have been busy this offseason utilizing cap space as well as addressing needs.

I’d like to say that the last couple of weeks have been a whirlwind, but after the Chip Kelly era, “whirlwind” is pretty much the norm for this time of year. Kelly caused a lot of hope and even more stress when it came to building the team.

Or dismantling it.

Philly fans never really knew how to feel. It was the first time, that I can recall, that the fanbase had been so split. You were either all-in with Kelly, or hated everything he did. There were very few that fell somewhere in the middle. Chip Kelly was that polarizing. However, this offseason should feel different. The new regime definitely has a focus on retaining talent, maintaining as much continuity as possible, and building on core strengths while addressing needs. In short, the team is turning things around the right way. Here are five reasons for Philadelphia fans to feel good about this offseason so far.
