2016 NFL Mock Draft: Eagles Go Defensive
By Jesse Shuter
11) Chicago Bears: Ronnie Stanley OT, Notre Dame
The Bears have put together a much better defense than they have had recently but Stanley is too good to pass on here and the Bears need help on the offensive line.
12) New Orleans Saints: Darron Lee OLB, Ohio State
The Saints need defense really, really bad. Lee is the perfect fit for them because he does everything from rush to quarterback to pass coverage.
13) Miami Dolphins (from Philadelphia Eagles): Eli Apple CB, Ohio State
The Dolphins could use a running back but with Elliot gone they’ll have to wait. They also need a cornerback to go opposite Byron Maxwell and Apple is a late riser.
14) Oakland Raiders: Jack Conklin OT, Michigan State
The Raiders have put an emphasis on protecting their investment in quarterback Derek Carr, because of that Conklin makes too much sense to pass on.
15) St. Louis Los Angeles Rams: Laquon Treadwell WR, Ole Miss
The Rams have put off drafting a number one wide receiver for too long. For whatever reason they seem content with Case Keenum as their quarterback so they’d better get him some weapons.
