With OTAs in full swing and the rumor mill churning about who may or may not make the Philadelphia Eagles roster, now is a good time to reflect on some of their recent activity, the biggest even being the draft.

The Eagles made a lot of questionable decisions come draft weekend, highlighted by a huge trade (hopefully) for their franchise quarterback.

Assuming we leave that move alone, and let Philadelphia fans have their top quarterback and leader of the franchise, what changes could the Eagles have made to their strategy that may have made their draft look better?

Obviously there is no way of knowing how the draft worked out at this point. Everyone that the Eagles drafted could turn out to be absolute super stars. Everyone that I put into this re-draft could turn out to be busts. We don’t know. However, the goal of this exercise is to figure out what the Eagles could have done to better fill their needs and get players with better draft grades or maximize value.
