The 2015 season wasn’t completely a lost cause for the Philadelphia Eagles, as the team was able to string together a few memories that will live in the hearts of their fans forever.

For many Philadelphia Eagles fans, 2015 was supposed to be the year. Chip Kelly, in his rookie campaign as a head coach, had guided what was supposed to be a team under construction to the playoffs. Then in year two, he had a stranglehold on the division with a month remaining in the regular season, and the team imploded. In year three, it was all supposed to come together. Kelly had made a team in his own image. All that he had learned from the previous two years would be used to catapult himself and his team back into the playoffs.

Well we all know the story. That didn’t happen, and instead of a year-long celebration, Kelly made wholesale changes, and we were treated to a year of agony that included the addition of an injury prone former top draft choice at quarterback, a broken down runner who clearly had too many touches the year prior and a team we had to buy a game-day program to recognize. Our team, as we knew it, was gone. It was a long 17 weeks, but have no fear Eagles fans. We’ve put together a list of a few occurrences that made us smile during 2015.

Let’s begin.
