4. Week 2: Jordan Hicks becomes a fan favorite

Week four was tough to watch as, offensively, the Eagles couldn’t get out of their own way, but here’s an interesting nugget about Eagles fans. They may not always remember the score and a few may not always remember the result, but they all remember when somebody gets knocked out.

During the third quarter of their initial match-up with the hated Dallas Cowboys, a star was born, and quarterback Tony Romo, his body and, ultimately, the Cowboys season were driven into the turf in what ended up being one of the memorable images of the season. Jordan Hicks, the author of said sack, went on to soar before an injury cut a brilliant rookie season short. The Eagles weren’t going anywhere by season’s end, but thanks to this play, neither were “the Cowgirls”.
