2. Jalen Mills, cornerback

Its kind of hard to say that a player will be entering a season with a lot on the line after just one year. But in Jalen Mills’ case, he needs to show up and show out in every game and at every opportunity.

It is no secret that the Eagles are very light at the cornerback position. No one would be surprised if they spent the 14th overall pick on one, or maybe two, of these studs entering the draft this year. Mills had a decent season last year for a seventh round draft pick, but duplicating what we saw from him last year just isn’t going to be enough.

Just like any other corner on the team’s roster, Mills has a legit shot at starting on the outside this season. As long as he can keep up with the deep routes and keep penalties to a minimum, Jalen Mills could be one of the better late round picks the Eagles have drafted in a long time. After all, some actualy saw him as a second round talent.
