Joe Mixon, RB, Oklahoma

Unless you have been living under a rock, you have heard about Joe Mixon‘s off-field incidents. In 2014, Mixon was involved in an altercation with a fellow student at Oklahoma. A surveillance video at a local restaurant on the Oklahoma campus showed Mixon punching a girl in the face. That led to him being suspended for the entire 2014 season. In 2016, Mixon was involved in another altercation with a school parking attendant when he received a citation. He was suspended for one game following that incident.

Mixon’s heavy baggage has left organizations very concerned with what comes with his talent. Reports came out that the Eagles were one of five teams who were really interested in Mixon. It is unlikely that he goes anywhere near the first round, but there is a high chance he’s off the board before the third round. Mixon is a true first-round talent who damaged his stock while he was still an underclassman. If the Eagles pass up on a running back in the first round, it is almost a lock that they will take Mixon in the second round if he is still available.
