Nate Gerry

Gerry played safety in college, but it appears he is set to make the transition to linebacker with the Eagles.

In four seasons at Nebraska, Gerry registered 273 total tackles along with 13 interceptions and three forced fumbles. The 6’2″, 218-pound safety/linebacker hybrid is a fierce competitor and isn’t afraid to be an agitator on defense.

It doesn’t appear Gerry will be challenging for a starting job, but it’s certainly fair to assume there’s a place for him on Dave Fipp’s special teams unit.
