Going into the second season of the Doug Pederson era, the Eagles front office made sure to select players who will make an instant impact in the draft.

After the 2017 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles are confident that they made quality selections based off their needs. Now the Eagles head into the second season of head coach Doug Pederson and quarterback Carson Wentz. Although the first two selections help out the defense, the Eagles made sure to get some weapons for their franchise quarterback in later rounds.

In the last few drafts, the Eagles struggled to get the best out of some of their key selections. Most of the players that were drafted in the Chip Kelly era are on their way out and Doug Pederson’s time is finally here. NFL.com graded the Eagles with the best draft grade in the NFC East. This year the Eagles took a different approach by drafting the best player available on their board, rather then reaching for needs. While we know not every rookie is going to work out in the pros, let’s take a look at four players who could make an instant impact for the team in 2017.
