Offensive Line

When this unit is healthy, it’s among the best units in the NFL.

Anchored by Jason Peters and Lane Johnson along with Allen Barbre, Brandon Brooks and Jason Kelce, the Eagles offensive line was ranked the eighth-best offensive line in the NFL in 2016 by Pro Football Focus. This is also despite the loss of Johnson due to a 10-game suspension.

What makes this unit effective is the depth along the line. The Eagles brought in veteran starter Chance Warmack, who as started 48 games for the Tennessee Titans. The Eagles also re-signed Stefen Wisniewski to a three-year deal to go along with second-year players Isaac Seumalo and Halapoulivaati Vaitai.

Given the rumors of the Eagles wanting to move on from Kelce, they can simply insert Wisniewski and Seumalo into the starting center role. Despite having his season prematurely ended due to MCL injury, Vaitai was coming into his own at Tackle and could be called upon again if either Peters and Johnson go down. Also, don’t sleep on Warmack giving Barbre and Brooks some competition at either of the starting starting guard positions as well.

From top to bottom, the Eagles offensive line is in solid shape.
