The 2018 NFL Draft may be an entire year away, but that doesn’t mean we can’t begin looking forward to who the Philadelphia Eagles may target.
It’s the slow part of the offseason. Aside from draftees signing their rookie contracts and people stalking James Harrison‘s Instagram account, basically nothing is going on. The Philadelphia Eagles made a nice move this week by signing running back former New England Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount, but that may be the last big storyline for a while.
So aside from impatiently twiddling our thumbs in preparation for training camp, what is there to do?
I know! Let’s take an insanely early look at the 2018 NFL Draft! That seems like fun!
Next year’s draft is already looking like a potentially historic one. Quarterbacks Josh Rosen and Sam Darnold of UCLA and USC, respectively, both seem bound for the NFL in 2018 and a number of other electric playmakers will be making the leap as well. But who could the Eagles be looking to nab in the first round of the 2018 draft? Could they be looking for more defensive talent? Maybe they’ll opt to surround Carson Wentz with more offensive talent? Either way, the Eagles will have some good options.
