Cameron Smith, LB, USC

Third-year linebacker Jordan Hicks is a stud and so is 27-year-old Nigel Bradham. Unfortunately, Hicks has a concerning injury history to account for and Bradham will be a free agent at the end of 2017. He’ll more than likely be looking for a significant pay raise that the Eagles may not be abble to afford.

If Philadelphia is looking for a boost at linebacker next year, USC’s Cameron Smith would be an excellent addition. Smith was graded by PFF College Football as the top linebacker in the Pac-12 last season.

In two years, Smith has registered 161 tackles, eight tackles for loss, two sacks and three interceptions for the Trojans. The 6’2″, 245-pound Sacramento native has the ideal size of an NFL linebacker and would immediately compete for a starting job at the next level.
