The Philadelphia Eagles can (and will) make the playoffs in 2017.

Last season was a bit of a disappointment for the Philadelphia Eagles. After a 3-0 start to the season, the team ended up losing nine of their remaining 13 contests. They finished with a 7-9 record and once again had to watch the postseason from home.

If all goes according to plan this season, however, there is no reason the Eagles won’t be playing football in January.

The Eagles have had an extremely successful offseason. Not only did they surround quarterback Carson Wentz with more weapons, but they also retooled the defense and added several promising young players through the 2017 NFL Draft.

A lot can happen from now until the start of the regular season. At the moment, though, the Eagles have what it takes to be a playoff team this year for these five reasons.
