Inside The Iggles:

What are the strengths of each one of these guys? Have we missed any of the weaknesses? What needs to be discussed about both that isn’t being discussed?

Ziegler:

For Blount, his strength is definitely running the football in the red zone. Scoring 18 rushing touchdowns was certainly impressive, however, he didn’t run the ball well most of the time, which was evidenced by his poor yards per carry average. Also, he was a non-factor in the passing game.

Long doesn’t have as many glaring weaknesses as Blount. He performed well against both the run and the pass last season. However, he is certainly a better pass-rusher than he is a run defender. At over 30-years-old, Long will be limited if asked to play too much.
