Should Philly fans be excited or should they prepare for disappointment? What should be the realistic expectation for both during the 2017 season?
Ziegler:
These moves shouldn’t bring a ton of excitement, as neither will likely play at a Pro Bowl level, however, adding veterans to a young team could certainly help the franchise begin to compete. If used properly, Blount should be able to total double-digit rushing touchdowns. For Long, he can still get after the quarterback pretty well. Anywhere from three to six sacks should be a realistic number for him.
