Yes, we want the Eagles to win their division and compete annually in a competitive league, but here’s a few Eagles that could help you win in yours fantasy league.

With the NFL season drawing near, fantasy football is right around the corner. Some of you may have already drafted your teams. Although it’s recommend that you hold off on drafting players until late August, this list could provide some early insight.

The 2016 season:

“The Birds” didn’t have too many standouts in 2016. Quarterback Carson Wentz finished 24th among players at his position. The rookie netted 214 points if you use the ESPN standard scoring system. That’s ten less than Eli Manning. Darren Sproles also finished 24th among running backs with 162 points. Now, with the additions of Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith, the Philadelphia Eagles‘ offense should take the next step forward.

With that being said, the Eagles have cultivated a receiving corps that will force Nelson Agholor to fight for a roster spot. This is a huge change of pace from a year ago, where Agholor was a presumed starter. Philadelphia doesn’t have a huge question mark at running back after adding LeGarrette Blount through free agency. Blount ran for 1,161 yards and an league-leading 18 touchdowns in 2016 for the New England Patriots. His workload in Philly won’t likely lead to similar numbers from a year ago. He’ll share reps with Sproles, Wendell Smallwood, and Donnel Pumphrey.

Without further adieu, here are five guys that could be great pickups for your fantasy team.
