Carson Wentz is launching his very own foundation.
The Philadelphia Eagles‘ exciting young quarterback Carson Wentz is pretty awesome on the field. After all, he was nominated for the NFL Rookie of the Year last season. However, he might be even better off the field.
Wentz revealed Tuesday that the “Carson Wentz AO1 Foundation” has officially been launched, which is a nonprofit meant to help those in need.
Wentz made the announcement in a video he shared on via Twitter.
I am officially launching the Carson Wentz AO1 Foundation. The Lord put it on my heart a long time ago and it’s been in the making for quite some time. But the foundation is officially launching as we speak. I’ll have an event this Wednesday night in North Dakota.
The three main objectives of Wentz’s foundation are as follows:

Service dogs: To support youth in the Philadelphia area by providing service dogs to assist with their development and quality of life
Hunting and outdoor opportunities: To provide hunting and outdoor opportunities for individuals with physical challenges, the underserved and military veterans living in the Midwest
Underprivileged youth: To care for and provide food, shelter and educational opportunities for underprivileged youth living abroad
Wentz is already making a difference on the field, but it’s pretty cool to see him making just as big an impact off of it. The Eagles got a good one.
