The base set:

Quarterback: This one won’t change much throughout camp.

Running back: We expect a lot of two-back sets. This is just where the team sees the entire grouping.

  • RB1: LeGarrette Blount
  • RB2: Darren Sproles
  • RB3: Wendell Smallwood
  • RB4: Donnel Pumphrey
  • RB5: Byron Marshall
  • RB6: Corey Clement
  • RB7: Ryan Mathews

Wide receiver (left side): The wide receiver corps will be a competition to pay attention to all preseason.

  • WR1: Alshon Jeffery
  • WR2: Marcus Johnson (You see him climbing the board don’t you?)
  • WR3: Shelton Gibson (He’s still off to a slow start, but the hope is he can turn it around)

Wide receiver (right side):

  • WR1: Torrey Smith
  • WR2: Mack Hollins
  • WR3: David Watford

Wide receiver (the reserves)

Tight end:

  • TE1: Zach Ertz
  • TE2: Brent Celek
  • TE3: Trey Burton
  • TE4: Billy Brown
  • TE5: Anthony Denham
  • TE6: Adam Zaruba

ITI’s analysis: There are no major surprises on this list. Some have Nelson Agholor sightly ahead of Jordan Matthews, but that isn’t a big deal.
