5 Guaranteed wins on the Philadelphia Eagles’ schedule
3. Another Sunday night date with Jerry’s boys on November 19th…
Over the last decade or so, the Eagles have normally taken the measure of Cowboys. There have been bad games, and there have been implosions. None have been more memorable recently than last season when they Eagles gift-wrapped a game, put a bow on it and handed it over to the enemy at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
What was almost a done deal became an unraveling, and fans haven’t forgotten it yet. Neither have the Eagles, and this team will, no doubt, be looking to erase the stain from their memories, especially since you can’t really call 2016’s finale, a victory over mostly Cowboys’ backups, a revenge moment.
This one will go back and forth, as all showdowns between Philly and Dallas are, but when it’s all said and done, Philadelphia will make a few more plays than the Cowboys will. They’ll eliminate the self-imposed errors, and they’ll walk out of Arlington with a real revenge feather in their caps.
