When, the Carolina Panthers lock horns with the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday Night Football, both teams will get a better idea of how good their franchises actually are.

It’s truly been a short week. Now, week six of the NFL season is upon us. It begins with the Philadelphia Eagles and the Carolina Panthers. The last time these two met there were both similar and completely different circumstances. For the second time in their last two meetings, the game will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina at Bank of America Stadium. The Eagles will attempt to neutralize Panthers quarterback Cam Newton when he takes the field. They’ll try to outsmart one of the games most gifted defenses when Philly’s offense takes the field.

To get a better idea of who the Panthers are and who Newton is, clearly one of the most talked about athletes this game has seen, we, at Inside The Iggles, did as we always do. We called for reinforcements. We tracked down our good friend Brandon Scott, editor and lead writer for Cat Crave. That’s FanSided’s site dedicated exclusively to content relating to the Panthers.

What follows is the result of some of that conversation.
