Fletcher Cox, DT

For a second, we almost thought Fletcher Cox would not be able to play this week. He had an incident with another lineman last week that led the NFL to review a certain play involving Cox. Luckily, they found Cox’s hand to the face to be unintentional. So with Cox cleared and ready for action, we need him on his A game just like every other week.

The Broncos have decided to start quarterback Brock Osweiler this week, so Cox will have to welcome him back to playing with the starters in the best way possible. This game will be a defensive battle, no doubt. The Eagles will have to prove that they are the more dominant pass rushing group and eliminate any chances of a big play. Clearly, Cox is the guy up front that gets everyone going. If he is doing well, the chances are the rest of the defensive front is also doing well. If the defensive front is doing well, then good luck to the opposing team’s offense. They will need it.
