Offensive Player of the Year – Tight End Zach Ertz

Now, Wentz could have won this award too, but where’s the fun in that? Let’s go with the second-best choice in Zach Ertz. He’s finally having that breakout season fans have been asking for since he was drafted in 2013.

Ertz is 2nd among all NFL tight ends in receptions (43) and yards (528). He’s leading all tight ends in touchdowns (6). Ertz is a true redzone threat, catching all of his TD’s from inside the 20 yard line. He has the size and athleticism to be a mismatch with any defender he is going up against.

Ertz has also developed great chemistry with Wentz, making them a dangerous QB-TE duo. The Wentz-to-Ertz connection is a beautiful sight to see. Plus, they both have a “TZ” at the end of their last name, and it sounds really cool to say their names.
