The Philadelphia Eagles returned to practice Wednesday with a full attendance.

For what has felt like an eternity, the Philadelphia Eagles return to the practice field on Wednesday. The team had a limited practice that was held indoors on Monday due to the weather. But they returned back to a full outdoor practice on Wednesday afternoon. For the first time in awhile, the Eagles had a healthy turnout. Everybody practiced, including tight end Zach Ertz and cornerback Ronald Darby.

The bye week can sure do wonders, right? Aside from the season-ending injuries to Jordan Hicks and Jason Peters the Eagles are pretty healthy. Darby will finally make his return on Sunday after sitting out for ten weeks. He spent the last couple of weeks working to get back into football shape and he finally feels like he is ready to get back out there on gameday.

Star tight end, Zach Ertz is also back to being a full participant. Two weeks ago he spent a lot of his time nursing a hamstring injury. He planned to play against the Denver Broncos a couple weeks back but he did not feel one-hundred percent. His week off gave his body enough time to heal so he could return against the Dallas Cowboys this Sunday.

New faces and a hopeful…

The Eagles welcomed two new players on Wednesday. Offensive tackle Will Beatty and linebacker Dannell Ellerbe wore their Eagles practice uniforms for the first time after signing a one-year deal earlier in the week. The two veterans will serve as substitutes in case an emergency injury goes down on game day.

With everybody back, there is still one guy who is patiently waiting for his return. Rookie cornerback Sidney Jones is still on the Eagles injured reserve list with a chance to return. Although the team won’t budge on an estimated date, he still has high hopes of playing this season. For now, he sits back and learns as the Eagles are in no rush to get him started. After all, the secondary looks very solid right now.

With Ronald Darby returning, the cornerbacks unit will look the strongest it has ever been this week. Obviously, he could start off a little rusty, but he has enough experience in the NFL to get back to playing like a true number one cornerback. As he is a full participant this week, he will get plenty of reps to get back on track.
