17. Alshon Jeffery wins the jump ball.

This is how it was supposed to be all season, but hey. Who’s complaining? Every Eagles fan can only hope that Wentz’s pass to Jeffery and Jeffery’s tremendous display of athleticism on both the catch and run are both signs that more of this is coming down the road.

18. Wentz finds Jeffery down the right sideline again.

Give Wentz the nod for style points on this one as he ran the “zone read”, pulled the all back out of the running back’s breadbasket, rolled right, did just enough to elude a would-be sack and then floated a perfect pass to Alshon Jeffery. I couldn’t have done it better myself (literally).

19. Philly officially adopts Jay Ajayi as one of their own.

Trading for Jay Ajayi was a move that no one saw coming. It’s hard to imagine that a few short months ago, we were discussing the Eagles possibly being in dire straits at the running back position. Fast forward, and everything’s all gravy now. Philly’s loaded in the backfield, and Ajayi’s long touchdown run in his first game with the team is the stuff legends are made out of.

Take a look.

20. Corey Clement gets the hat trick.

Clement had three touchdowns in the Eagles victory over the Broncos. All were special. There’s no need to pick just one, so how about we give him the thumbs up for all three of them? Check each one of them out as well as some insight from Mr. Clement himself.

It’s been one heck of a year to this point, and there’s no reason to think it won’t continue. Is that elusive Lombardi Trophy finally within reach? Only time will tell. In the meantime, just enjoy the ride. You’re witnessing something special.
