It’s time for fans to give some thanks to the 9-1 Philadelphia Eagles.

What a time to be a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. They are currently the number one team in the NFL with an unexpected record of 9-1. As they head into their matchup with the Chicago Bears on Sunday, the Eagles are looking to remain undefeated in the NFC. Nothing is quite guaranteed yet, but with a victory on Sunday and few other games going our way and the Eagles could clinch the NFC East as early as next week.

To make a long story short, the 2017 Eagles have been absolutely phenomenal. The team seems to have a genuine chemistry with one simple goal; Win football games. Obviously, it is easier said than done, but the Eagles have done it convincingly. Over their last four matchups, the Eagles have beaten their opponents by at least two possessions. That includes two tough divisional matchups.

After a 7-9 season in 2016, the Eagles have already exceeded expectations from the offseason. In fact, at this point, Eagles fans are starting to order their tickets to Minnesota for Super Bowl 52. Obviously, the teams focus is on the Bears this week, but with Thanksgiving approaching, we should sit back and appreciate what the Eagles have done so far this season. After all, there haven’t been too many seasons where the Eagles are 9-1 on turkey day.  Now let’s show the team some thanks.
