Is Todd Gurley causally throwing shots at the Philadelphia Eagles?
The Philadelphia Eagles are preparing to head into the first of two tough conference road games. As they prepare for the Seattle Seahawks, one of the enemies from the Los Angeles Rams has done some subtle trash talking. Rams running back, Todd Gurley doesn’t seem to fond of team celebrations in the end zone.
He told the Los Angeles media on Friday afternoon that he simply has no time to be doing end zone celebrations. Although it doesn’t sound like he is saying much to talk trash, he added on with a cocky subliminal that is sure to rile up the Philadelphia fan base. Check out what he told Joe Curley of the Ventura County Star on Friday:
What did he say?:
Shots fired?
You could say this is could be about anybody. After all, since the NFL has lightened up on celebration punishments the whole league has gotten involved. But as the Eagles are one of the most popular teams currently joining in on celebration fun, you can’t help but feel like Gurley meant something by it.
Not to mention, there was a subliminal message in his statement when he said: “I don’t have all day to do a whole cha-cha slide, electric slide.” Obviously, he was referring to the Eagles electric slide celebration after their defense snagged an interception last week against the Chicago Bears.
Now we know that the Eagles are focused on Seattle, but don’t think for a second that Gurley’s cockiness will go unnoticed in two weeks. After all, he will be facing the number one rushing defense in the NFL.

Who knows if Gurley will even get a chance to celebrate at all during Week 14. It has been a while since the Eagles have allowed a rushing touchdown to a running back. Believe it or not, the last time a running back scored on the ground against the Eagles was during week four.
