Although this is a familiar face to the Pro Bowl, this one is definitely an unexpected leader this season. The veteran center, Jason Kelce has surprisingly been very good this season. Over the last couple years, the Eagles fan base has sensed a drop off in Kelce’s abilities on the field. But every time he gets doubted, he seems to prove everyone wrong time after time.
This season is no different. Kelce was rumored to be on the chopping block before training camp had even begun. Now, it would be foolish for the Eagles to even let the veteran go. Playing in what was expected to be his final season as an Eagle, may turn into one of his better seasons.
As of now, Kelce is in the lead to grab what would be his third Pro Bowl honors. That will surely convince the Eagles to keep Kelce around for a little longer as they struggle to find a young replacement.
