The Philadelphia Eagles are set to take on the New York Giants once again on the road this week.

Just a week ago, the Philadelphia Eagles versus New York Giants matchup looked like a blowout on paper. The Giants have clearly had one of their most disappointing seasons in recent memory this year. Meanwhile, the Eagles have been the polar opposite this season despite losing some extremely key players.

The first time these two teams met, it ended in a nail-biter. Eagles kicker Jake Elliott knocked in the game-winning 61-yard field goal to send the Giants home 0-3. Since then, the Giants haven’t gotten much better. They are currently 2-11 on the season and are officially eliminated from playoff contention. Not to mention, they are far from full strength, unlike week three.

As the Giants are absolutely plagued with injuries and issues, the Eagles have dealt with their fair share of losses as well. Most recently, the loss of Carson Wentz. Not having the MVP favorite this week could mean this matchup will be a lot closer than anticipated. Beleive it or not, this struggling Giants team issues a major test for the Eagles. In order for the Eagles to lock in a win, who will need to put on their best performance?
