The injury list is piling up for the Philadelphia Eagles as Stefen Wisniewski is questionable.

Each and every week the Philadelphia Eagles have a new obstacle. Just as they are finally starting to move on from the Carson Wentz injury, other areas are starting to look a lot weaker. Offensive guard, Stefen Wisniewski is yet, another key player listed on this week’s injury report. Wisniewski left last Sunday’s game with an ankle injury and ended up never returning back to the field.

His absence last Sunday left a major cause for concern. His backups did not fare well at all against the tough Los Angeles Rams’ front. Backup left guards, Chance Warmack and Isaac Seumalo showed why they were nothing more than backups leading up to this point.

The struggles of Halapoulivaati Vaitai at left tackle already had the team nervous about the left side. Now with Wisnewski’s status in question, the whole left side of the offensive line becomes a major liability for Sunday’s game against the New York Giants.

Causes for concern…

The mobility of Carson Wentz in the pocket made things seem a lot less weaker on the left side. Now, with a quarterback like Nick Foles, the weak blindside could be more than exposed against the Giants defensive line. Both Wentz and Foles took a lot more hits than desired for anybody last week despite them both throwing the ball pretty well.

Foles is a tough player, but his durability over the years is very questionable. Being that he is currently the only quarterback on the Eagles roster with a legitimate shot at winning big-time games, they have to protect him at all costs. Without Wisniewski in the game, Foles could be taking more hits than any quarterback in the league for Week 15.

As of right now, Eagles coach Doug Pederson has Wisniewski as questionable. He has been a limited participant this week at practice and it look’s like he will not have a full practice at all this week. If he does not play this week, there will most likely be a rotation of Warmack and Seumalo once again throughout the game.
