6 Timely turnovers

Nope, we’re not done talking defense just yet. Think about the beginning of the season. The defense was flying around. They were stopping people, but most importantly, they were forcing turnovers. It’s an aspect of the Eagles defense that hasn’t been as prevalent recently.

Say what you want to say about Ronald Darby‘s performance at MetLife Stadium, but if he doesn’t snag an interception, Philly doesn’t win that game. Period.

Philly needs to get back turnovers. We’ve got that on our list. We just don’t want turnovers. We want timely turnovers. Give us a few at crucial moments to swing momentum.

5 Impressive linemen

This just won’t go away will it? Jason Peters is gone, and we may have seen him for the last time in an Eagles jersey. The jury is still out on Halapoulivaati Vaitai. Isaac Seumalo has been a turnstile at times, and the Eagles offensive line, as a whole, just doesn’t seem like the unit they were described as being at the beginning of the season. One or two more pieces may complete the puzzle, but again, it may need to be time to explore options at left tackle and guard.
