Major Injuries have not phased the team…

The injury bug has devastated the Eagles this season. Carson Wentz, Jason Peters, Darren Sproles, Jordan Hicks, Caleb Sturgis, and Chris Maragos are all out for the remainder of the season. When a team loses their MVP quarterback, future hall of fame left tackle, most dangerous weapon on offense, commander on defense, starting kicker, and best special teams player, it’s very difficult to win in this league. The Eagles have managed to keep on winning.

You gotta give credit where credit is due. Pederson deserves a lot of it. Without so many major pieces, he has kept the team motivated and ready to play, no matter the situation. The Eagles have used the famous “next man up” mentality throughout the year. Doug has preached this often, along with the “one game at a time” narrative.  His motivational skills and the way he connects with his players is off the charts, and it shows on the field every week.
