Ric Flair tells the Eagles that they are next to lose to the Falcons
Wrestling legend, Ric Flair told the Philadelphia Eagles that they better watch out!
The Philadelphia Eagles have been doubted since the beginning. Now that they are officially labeled as the underdogs despite being the number one seed, the national media is out to get them. Not only are the analysts throwing shade at the team, though. Fans and celebrities have also taken their fair share of shots at the Eagles.
On Wednesday, WWE legend Ric Flair spent his day at the Atlanta Falcons practice facility. Just like last week, the “Nature Boy” had everybody gathered around to get a motivational pep talk. Before the Falcons Wild Card matchup with the Los Angeles Rams, Flair expressed his confidence in the Falcons moving forward.
Now with the Falcons advancing on, he has shifted his attention to the Eagles. Ric Flair took to Twitter on Wednesday afternoon to let the Eagles and their fan base know how he feels about them. Just a fair warning to those who are fans of both, you will not be happy with his views about this…
A message from the Nature Boy:
What was that?!
No brotherly love from the wrestling legend at all. Despite the fact that Ric Flair was the hot topic at Philadelphia’s 2017 Win Bowl event, he doesn’t seem to be too fond of the Eagles heading into this divisional round matchup. That statement is sure to hurt Eagles defensive end, Vinny Curry’s feelings.
For those who don’t know, Curry’s idol is the current arch nemesis, Ric Flair. Back in his college days at Marshall, Curry would wear clothes that were similar to Flair’s style in his press conferences. Now that he has shown no love for his team, Curry is unsure how to feel. He jokingly denied commenting on the topic at first after practice on Wednesday.

Now that Curry has seen his lifelong idol throw dirt on his team’s name, he may have gained some extra motivation to show out. He said that after the Eagles win this Saturday, then he will talk to Flair to see what he has to say then. For now, Curry is focused on winning his first career playoff game to get to the NFC Championship.
