Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver has had enough media attention for the week.

The Super Bowl has evolved big time since it’s debut in 1967. Before, the game was just as normal as any other game. Simple introductions with a simple halftime show. Fast forward to the 2010’s era, and the Super Bowl has turned into a full week event. Filled with interviews, performances and tons of activities around the city it is hosted in.

Things have changed a lot from the last time the Philadelphia Eagles were in the Super Bowl. All the players had to do was take a few pictures in uniform and maybe do an interview here and there. Now, players are expected to do a series of interviews almost every single day. While some young players may embrace the moment. Some veterans are starting to feel antsy about getting on the field.

For Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery, he is pretty much fed up with all of the media attention leading up to Sunday. He was all smiles on Monday night as he answered questions wearing a sombrero hat and having fun. But when he was asked about this week on Thursday, he gave his honest opinion on media week.

Sunday’s almost here…

Clearly, Jeffery feels out of his element in Minneapolis. That isn’t to say he is not enjoying the moment out in Super Bowl City 2018. But to him, the game is much bigger than the memories made in the week leading up to the big game.

For a veteran like Jeffery, he has seen pretty much everything except for a Super Bowl. After spending six seasons in the NFL, Alshon has more than enough experience in the media world. Now his main focus is getting what he predicted he would get last year. A Vince Lombardi trophy.

Honestly, we couldn’t agree more with Alshon here. For a team that has a lot of young players without the Super Bowl experience, it can be easy for them to get caught in a rut. As Jeffery is trying to remain focused on Sunday night, the interviews and building up to the actual game is making everybody a lot more anxious. So with only a few days left to prepare, hopefully, the Eagles can zero in their focus on the game and not the off-field distractions.
