Tom Brady doesn’t lose many games. But when he does, he doesn’t seem very sportsmanlike.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles accomplished what every quarterback dreams of accomplishing. Winning the Super Bowl and taking home the MVP trophy. Foles did all of the above after a nail-biting victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII.

Foles’ enemy of the night is no stranger to winning the Super Bowl MVP. In fact, he won it four times over the course of his 18-year career. Tom Brady had yet, another historical performance to add to his lengthy resume on Sunday night. Fortunately for the Eagles, they put up an even better fight than the Patriots did.

Brady finished the game with 505 yards and three touchdowns. Had it not been for a game-changing strip sack by Brandon Graham, who knows what way the game would’ve gone. But the bottom line is the Eagles came out on top and were crowned champions. So how did Brady react to his loss?

Apparently, the 40-year-old veteran is not very good at losing. Okay so that’s understandable, but the man couldn’t at least shake the hand of his opponent after the game? Multiple reports came from down on the field where reporters accused Brady of leaving the field after the Eagles won. Afterwards, NFL fans went into an uproar accusing Brady of bad sportsmanship.

Competitive or pettiness?

So, what happened?

So the real question floating around is: Did Tom Brady actually snub Nick Foles? Apparently, things got a little too crazy on the field. Coming directly from Foles himself, he said he was looking for Brady but couldn’t find him with all of the craziness going on. Here’s what Foles had to say regarding the accusations.

"“I didn’t get to see Tom. I was looking for Tom,” Foles said. “It got pretty crazy really fast. He’s one of the greatest of all time. Guy does it right. He has been unbelievable. He was unbelievable tonight. I can’t say enough about him.”"

Hmm, doesn’t really sound like there is much going on here. If you look at the scene after the game, it is very clear that things got pretty wild. Considering Foles was the man of the hour after the game, it makes sense that it was probably tough for Foles to find Brady.

But the real issue is why didn’t Brady seek out Foles for a quick handshake? Sure, nobody really likes losing but a simple handshake doesn’t really take a ton of effort. Although there were pictures of Brady shaking hands with Derek Barnett in the tunnel after all of the madness, it still seems like a sour thing to do for Brady to not at least congratulate Foles. At the end of the day though, it is what it is. Eagles are Super Bowl Champions and that’s all that matters.
