No need to worry about Trey Burton, because Zach Ertz has hands for days.

The Philadelphia Eagles got to finally embrace the offseason this year. Luckily, this year they get to celebrate a championship victory instead of watching one at home like the 31 other teams. So as the team rolled around Philly in double-decker buses, they got to party with the millions of fans that have come out and supported them on many different occasions this season.

On Thursday, the Eagles held their first Super Bowl parade in the history of the team. So in order to make sure they knew what to expect, they heard from their neighbors down the street at Citizens Bank Park. The 2008 World Series Champs warned the Eagles about how crazy the fans of Philadelphia can get. So they needed to beware of cans of beer flying past their head while strolling down Broad Street.

Zach Ertz knew that he had to stay on the lookout. Unfortunately, Trey Burton slipped up and lost his focus for a second as full cans of beers were flying in. Good thing the man who caught the game-winning touchdown in Super Bowl LII was by his side. Or else Burton would really be aching in the head on Friday.

Nice catch, Zach…

Mark that down as another catch by number 86. We are now heading into week 22 of the NFL and Ertz still hasn’t dropped a pass. So make that 93 catches for Ertz between the regular season and the postseason. At this point, Ertz is the hero of the Philadelphia Eagles for more reasons than just scoring the final touchdown for them in the most important game of all.

Aside from a beer almost hitting Burton, the Eagles victory parade turned out to be a major success. All of the players were very vocal with how impressed they were with the city coming out and all of the fan’s reactions. The entire roster better get used to this because if Doug Pederson sticks by his words, victory parades will be an annual event in Philadelphia.
