The Philadelphia Eagles have a brand new upgrade at the Nova Care Complex.

It feels like yesterday when the Philadelphia Eagles officially hoisted the Vince Lombardi Trophy for the first time. After being showcased around the country for a month, the Super Bowl LII trophy has finally found it’s permanent home in Philadelphia at the Nova Care Complex. Along with the 2004 George Halas trophy, the 2017 version of the Halas trophy, and the Lombardi are sharing the same case.

It’s crazy to think that this is the first Lombardi trophy to find its way into the Eagles facilities after 52 years. But considering this the only the second year of the Doug PedersonCarson Wentz era, there may be much more to come in the future. For now, though, we are just sitting back and enjoying the glory as the offseason continues.

Check out the new addition:

How is that for a new addition? It looks like the Eagles Public Relations team displayed the Eagles latest prize right at the entrance of the facility. Making sure the players walk by it and see it every day is vital for motivation. We think the Eagles will be just fine without the extra motivation. But a reminder of what they can accomplish no matter what couldn’t hurt.

As free agency and the 2018 NFL Draft approaches, the new decor could be a high selling point for the Eagles. Any player that could potentially sign with the Eagles may see the trophy case and make up their mind quickly about whether they would like to play here or not.

And who knows, maybe if the veterans who are on their way out come in for a voluntary workout they might change their mind about taking more money elsewhere in free agency. Obviously, it is doubtful that the trophy can have that kind of power, but there is nothing wrong with a little bit of wishful thinking, right?
