How did the Philadelphia Eagles do with this year’s Free Agency market?

The Philadelphia Eagles have been crowned kings of the offseason many times in the past. Although their signings haven’t always looked as good on the field as they did on paper, the Eagles proved that they have a different eye for talent with Joe Douglas and Howie Roseman back in charge.

Let’s face it; their Super Bowl dreams would’ve never happened without the contributions of their signed veterans during the 2017 offseason. Hence the reason why they re-signed guys like Alshon Jeffery and Timmy Jernigan to long-term deals midway through the season. But the Eagles had a slightly different approach towards the market in the 2018 offseason.

Unlike every other offseason, the Eagles have to build while on top instead of building to get to the top. Convincing players to sign here wasn’t the hard part, though. Clearing up cap space to afford these guys is what made this offseason so tricky for Howie Roseman and company.

It took some restructuring and trading to be able to work things out on paper. So after several trades and signings, how did the Eagles do in the 2018 offseason?
